Sinn Féin vote increase shows momentum for change is building
Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams speaking as results come in from count centres around the country said "Sinn Féin has built upon very successful 2004 local elections and managed to increase our number of seats in many areas, some for the first time. We are on track for gains in Wicklow, Donegal, Kilkenny, Cork, Limerick, Offaly, Carlow and Roscommon. The Dublin EU constituency will go down to the wire. View more |
