Betrayed by Dublin - IMC report angers republicans

The British Government's attitude to the Six Counties is predictable, but republicans expect more from the Dublin Government. This was the angry message from Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams yesterday as he addressed a packed room of activists in the capital city. IMC's threats polluting the peace process

The Independent Monitoring Commission's threat to expose Sinn Fein members as IRA members has ''polluted'' the peace process, a senior figure in the party claimed today. In an angry attack on the four-member commission, whose first report yesterday called for financial penalties against Sinn Féin and the DUP, Mitchel McLaughlin warned it had the potential to ``put another nail in the coffin`` of the process.  View more

Sinn Féin Dáil leader Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin said in Leinster House on Wednesday that "this dangerous, divisive and reactionary referendum" should not go ahead. British political control is the problem with policing

It was a wonderfully sunny spring day in Covington, Kentucky on 15 March 2003, when Gerry Kelly spoke at the Northern Kentucky Police Memorial. A black marble slab, it is inscribed with the names of dozens of police officers who have fallen in the line of duty protecting the citizens of Northern Kentucky over the years. Sinn Féin MLA's home attacked

The home of West Belfast Sinn Féin Assembly member Fra McCann was attacked last night for the second time in recent weeks with ball bearings. This attack follows on from a similar attack on the home of Sinn Féin Councillor Paul Butler last weekend.
