DUP leader Ian Paisley has claimed that Dublin government plans for a referendum in June on Irish citizenship prove the Good Friday Agreement is dead. Two governments receive IMC report

The British and Irish Governments have confirmed that they have received and are studying the first report from the body set up to monitor paramilitary activity. The Independent Monitoring Commission (IMC) report was handed over on Wednesday. It is expected that the report will be unfairly and inaccurately focused on republicans. View more

Derry council entered the news again today, with reports that it has sent letters to many businesses and organisations around the city, reminding them that only the name Derry, and not Londonderry, is recognised by the council. The Londonderry Port and Harbour Commissioners could be the next organisation to drop "Londonderry" from its name. View more
